There are a few different paths to investing in Ireland. Typically there are 3 options, which can also be combined, mixed and matched. One can invest either in a single Irish enterprise or a few different enterprises. These investments must not fall below €1,000,000 per investment. For the individual to be considered as a resident, the investment which must be made for a minimum of 3 years must also be made in the name of the applicant. Another enterprise investment that the guidelines on immigration investor program allow is direct investment through shares of Irish companies listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, or through a Fund or an Endowment. The owner of the fund which should not fall below €500,000 will thus not only donates such money for charity but also expect no recovery of the principal whatsoever. Property investments including residential investments can also be considered but must amount to €1,000,000 and above for it to be enlisted for consideration.
